“Footprints on the Sands of Time”
Henry Wadsworth urges the reader not to look back at the past with regret, not to trust or rely on the future but to live, appreciate and strive to improve the ’here and now’. He encourages creativity and the desire to achieve something heroic today which will earn recognition and honour in the future and give others hope.
The Red Deer is the only breed of deer indigenous to Britain; they are powerful, graceful, fascinating creatures. This great beast, who has walked our land for so many centuries, wears his past with pride, glorious for all to see, represented so eloquently by his antlers. His future cannot be predicted, he must fight for his right to exist, to acquire leadership status and remain at the head of the herd. His majestic presence is captivating, his strength and speed sublime. The leadership and protection he provides today are undeniable. His heroism and lineage will live on through many generations to come.
